Please read our Returns and Refunds Policy carefully, as this policy is an integral part of our Terms and Conditions.

  1. Returns

    Due to the artisanal and often delicate nature of Indian heritage crafts, we currently accept returns only under the following specific circumstances:

    • Damaged Upon Arrival: If the item you receive is visibly damaged during shipping (e.g., broken pottery, torn textiles, or structural damage to handicrafts), please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. To process your return, please provide clear photographic evidence of the damage and the packaging along with your order number
    • Incorrect Item Received: If you receive a craft or artwork that is different from what you ordered, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt, clearly stating the discrepancy and providing your order number.

    We do not accept returns for the following reasons:

    • Change of mind or personal preference
    • Incorrect selection made by the customer during the ordering process.
    • Artisanal Variations: As our products are handcrafted, minor variations in color, texture, and finish are inherent characteristics of heritage arts and are not considered defects.

  2. Return Process

    To ensure a smooth resolution, please follow these steps to initiate a return:

      • Please clearly state the reason for the return and provide your order number and supporting photographic evidence.

    • Assessment

      Our team will review your request and the provided information. If your return is approved based on our policy, we will provide you with specific instructions on how to proceed.

    • Return Shipping

      For approved returns due to damage or an incorrect item, Khwahiish.com will be responsible for the return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid shipping label or arrange for a pickup of the item.

    • Packaging

      Indian handicrafts are often fragile. Please ensure the item is securely packaged in its original packaging (if possible) or equally protective packaging to prevent further damage during transit.

  3. Refunds

    Upon receiving and inspecting the returned artwork or craft, we will notify you of the status of your refund.

    • Eligible Refunds: If approved, a full refund of the purchase price, including any applicable shipping charges, will be processed.
    • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used for the purchase.

    Processing Time: Please allow 7–10 working days from the date we receive the returned item for the refund to be reflected in your account. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

  4. Non-Delivery Refunds

    As per our Terms and Conditions, if your order is not delivered within the stipulated 7 working days and we are unable to fulfill the order, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued.

    • Timeline: The amount will be refunded to you within 5–7 working days.
    • Method: Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
